Untaught is a financial literacy platform built on one core belief: the information that could change your financial life was kept from you on purpose.
The System Counts on Your Ignorance
Your purchasing power is being drained year after year. Inflation quietly taxes your savings. The dollar has lost more than 96% of its value since 1913. None of this is an accident, and none of it was explained to you in school.
Financial literacy was deliberately excluded from public education. A financially literate population is harder to exploit. People who understand compound interest, inflation, and asset allocation make very different decisions than people who don't. The system was built for the latter.
Untaught exists to break that cycle. We teach what school never did, in plain English, without an agenda tied to selling you anything.
What Untaught Is (and Isn't)
Untaught is an educational platform. We are not a broker, an exchange, a financial advisor, or a custodian. We do not hold your money, move your money, or make investment decisions for you.
We teach. You act. That separation is intentional. The best financial decisions are ones you make yourself, with real information, not ones made by someone who profits when you do.
The Founder
I'm Jake St. Peter. I grew up watching people around me work hard and still fall behind. They weren't lazy. They weren't careless. They just never got the information they needed to make their money work for them. Nobody explained inflation. Nobody explained the difference between saving and investing. Nobody explained why the dollar buys less every year and who benefits from that.
Untaught is the resource I wish had existed. It doesn't require a finance degree, a brokerage account, or a six-figure income to start. It requires curiosity and a willingness to stop pretending the system is on your side.
